The Polish Defense Minister named one of the main topics of the NATO summit.

Military assistance to Ukraine will be one of the main topics of the NATO summit, which will be held next week, Polish Minister of National Defense and Deputy Prime Minister of the country Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh said on Polish television.

The NATO summit will be held in Washington from July 9 to 11.

“Support from Ukraine. This will be one of the key points of the negotiations,” Kosinyak-Kamysh said.

He added that another topic of the NATO summit will be the fulfillment by member countries of the alliance of obligations regarding the level of military spending.

Earlier, Kosiniak-Kamysh stated on Polish Radio that Poland at the NATO summit would demand that all alliance countries comply with military spending standards of 2% of GDP.
