Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said he sees Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba more often than his children.

“Over the past 18 months, I have the feeling that sometimes I see you more than my own children. But that’s good. I think it’s extremely important to continue our direct dialogue,” Schallenberg said on Monday, speaking at a meeting of ambassadors in Vienna. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister joined the event via video link.

Kuleba replied that this was not what he wanted in his career and that his children could complain about the same. “Please convey my most sincere apologies to your children,” the Ukrainian minister told Schallenberg.

Earlier, Schallenberg said that Austria’s position regarding the support of Ukraine will remain unchanged – the republic, in accordance with its neutral status, will not participate in the supply of weapons to Kiev, while it provides humanitarian support to Kiev. The minister also stated that Austria continues to condemn Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
