The first European city has completely banned electric scooters.

In Paris, from September 1, the use of electric scooters is completely prohibited.

“Paris has indeed committed itself not to renew contracts <…> Thus, the French city becomes the first European capital to ban the use of these two-wheelers,” local media say.

This decision was made based on the results of a survey conducted by the mayor’s office. Thus, 89 per cent of the 103,084 Parisians who voted voted for the ban. Most of all, citizens are not satisfied with unsafe driving and the fact that electric scooters are often left in the wrong places.
