The EU is considering the possibility of imposing sanctions against the NWF

Bloomberg writes: The EU is considering the possibility of imposing sanctions against Alfa-Bank, Rosbank, Tinkoff Bank, as well as the National Welfare Fund.

Chapter European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said earlier that in the coming days the EC will propose a new, tenth package of restrictions against Moscow.

The European Union, as part of the tenth package of sanctions, also plans to “force” banks to provide information about the assets of the Central Bank of Russia. The message does not specify which financial organizations will be required to report such data.

Not so long ago, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis said that the tenth package of restrictive measures of the European Union against Russia will include measures to combat circumvention of sanctions.
