The death toll in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 13 thousand.

More than 13,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Israeli bombing of the enclave began on October 7, the local government’s information office said on Sunday.

“More than 13 thousand people became victims of Israeli aggression, more than 5.5 thousand of them are children, 3.5 thousand are women. Also more than 30 thousand wounded, over 75% of whom are children and women,” the press release says.

“To date, more than six thousand people, including more than four thousand children and women, have disappeared under the rubble as a result of Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip,” the statement says.

The Gaza Strip authorities clarified that as a result of an Israeli airstrike on one of the residential buildings in the enclave, 41 members of one family were killed.
