The Czech Republic says that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have only one attempt to counterattack

The President of the Czech Republic said that Ukraine this year has only one attempt to launch a counteroffensive.

“I believe that Ukraine will have only one attempt to launch a major counter-offensive. Therefore, if Ukraine decides to launch a counter-offensive and it fails, then it will be incredibly difficult for it to find funds for the next one,” the president said.

He also noted that, in his opinion, the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should take place within a few months and that the “window of opportunity” is open only this year. Further, Pavel added, it will not be easy for Kyiv to get help due to “war exhaustion.” This, the Czech leader commented, means not only a lack of resources and the destruction of infrastructure, but also the “fatigue” of Western countries that support Ukraine.
