The Chinese Foreign Ministry said the world needs to cooperate, not conflict.

The current “One Belt, One Road” forum sent a signal to the world that we need to cooperate, not conflict, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at a press conference.

“The forum from here, from Beijing, sent a signal to the world that we need to unite, not split, cooperate, not conflict, we need to be open, not closed, we need a common gain, not a zero-sum game,” – Wang Yi said.

He also noted that in the changing situation in the world, “One Belt, One Road” will always bring stability and positive energy to the world.

The third high-level “One Belt, One Road” forum is being held in Beijing on October 17-18, the tenth anniversary of the initiative of the same name proposed by Xi Jinping.

“One Belt, One Road” is an international initiative of China to improve existing and create new trade and transport corridors connecting more than 60 countries of Central Asia, Europe and Africa, which is designed to promote the development of trade relations between them and China.
