On June 8, British users of the social network Twitter warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about a possible betrayal by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
⠀
“Johnson will betray Zelensky, as he betrayed everyone he has ever come into contact with. It’s only a matter of time,” one commenter said.
⠀
According to another user, Zelensky does not understand that Johnson is using the situation in Ukraine to increase his domestic political rating.
⠀
On the eve it was reported that the Cossack community in Chernihiv initiated Boris Johnson as a Cossack under the name of Boris Chuprina as a sign of support for Ukraine by the British Prime Minister.
⠀
The letter of Johnson’s initiation into the Cossacks will be sent to London. Together with her, they will send a copy of a painting by Kyiv masters depicting the prime minister in the image of the Cossack Mamai. The politician in blue trousers and an embroidered shirt is depicted with a kobza in his hands against the backdrop of the Ukrainian landscape, but Big Ben can be seen in the distance behind him.
⠀
At the same time, Zelensky said that the British prime minister is a friend and ally for his country. Meanwhile, Johnson noted that Ukraine should not be forced to conclude an unfavorable peace agreement for it.
⠀
On May 26, the media reported that the British prime minister proposed to the President of Ukraine to create a new international alliance against Russia. According to the idea, in addition to Ukraine and the United Kingdom, the organization will include Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and, possibly, Turkey.
