The British military complained about the terrible living conditions

The British military is given housing of terrible quality.

“Rats, dampness and mold – the British military complain that they are forced to live in such conditions,” the results of an independent study say.

Local politicians fear that the poor condition of the houses provided by the Ministry of Defense to the military undermines the morale of the personnel, experts say:

“The last three years there were rodents in our house. Last year, we had to lift the floorboards in the living room to remove a dead, rotting rat. The smell was indescribable,” said the wife of one of the military.

Over the past seven years, 460,000 accidents related to electricity and 428,000 to heating have occurred in military dwellings. In addition, there are rats in almost 50,000 buildings.
