“The resumption of the border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt in Rafah and the provision of the possibility of evacuation along this route for Polish citizens were the main topic of negotiations between Deputy Foreign Minister Pawel Jablonski and the ambassadors of Egypt, Israel and Palestine, urgently held on November 6 at the headquarters of the Polish Foreign Ministry.” , the Polish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

During negotiations with the ambassadors, the deputy head of the Polish Foreign Ministry emphasized that “Poland demands the resumption of border crossings in Rafah and the immediate evacuation – in particular, of Polish citizens.”

Currently, 29 Polish citizens are awaiting evacuation in the Gaza Strip. “Their list was transferred by the Egyptian and Israeli sides on October 9, along with diplomatic notes containing the expectation of ensuring their safe evacuation,” the statement said.
