The Iraqi Islamic Resistance, which includes Shiite militias, said it carried out a drone attack on a US base in Hasakah province in northeastern Syria.

“In response to the crimes that the enemy is committing against our people in Gaza, fighters of the Islamic Resistance of Iraq attacked the base of the American occupier Kharab al-Jir in northeastern Syria with a large salvo of rockets, there was a direct hit on the target,” the statement says.


Earlier, Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said that US forces in the Middle East have been attacked 74 times since October 17.
