Scaramucci is going to oust White House press aide, offers ‘amnesty’ to others

Mr Scaramucci started his first work week after Sean Spicer’s stepping down. The new spokesperson to Donald Trump said in remarks to reporters Friday that he couldn’t guarantee who will remain in the presidential press shop.

Anthony Scaramucci is the newly appointed White House communications director, on Friday, he promised a real purge in the press pool:

“I’m going to fire everybody, that’s how I’m going to do it. You’re either going to stop leaking or you’re going to get fired,”

said Scaramucci.

The new communications director was very active during his first day on the job on Monday. Anthony Scaramucci met with current staffers and warned about leaks coming from the office.

“I offered amnesty in the meeting, but that decision is above my rank,”

Scaramucci stressed during his first meeting on July 24. Scaramucci added he couldn’t guarantee who will remain in the press shop at the White House, aside from social media director Dan Scavino and communications strategist Hope Hicks. These gentlemen were the longtime assistants to President Donald Trump.

So far, the main point for Scaramucci is to plug leaks from the White House. It won’t be easy but it’s worth to try.

“And leaking is atrocious. It’s outrageous. It’s unpatriotic. It damages the president personally. It damages the institution of the presidency and I don’t like it. I just don’t like it,”

said Anthony Scaramucci on Tuesday.
