Poland introduces a ban on the import of Ukrainian grain.

Poland is introducing a ban on the import of Ukrainian grain from midnight, despite the European Commission’s refusal to extend the embargo, Prime Minister of the Republic Mateusz Morawiecki said on Friday while talking to voters.

Earlier, the European Commission decided not to extend the previously imposed ban on the import of Ukrainian grain, which expires on Friday, into its five neighboring countries.

“Here and now I say. We will extend the ban on the import of Ukrainian grain. We will not listen to Berlin, we will not listen to Brussels,” Morawiecki said.

“We will do this from midnight today,” he added.
