Iran’s UN mission has rejected US accusations of supporting terrorism.

Iran’s UN mission has rejected US accusations of supporting terrorism.

The Iranian Permanent Mission to the UN rejected US accusations that Tehran allegedly supports terrorists in the Middle East region and said that Washington itself is promoting terrorism with its support for atrocities in Gaza.

“It is clear that the United States, not Iran, is the main supporter and promoter of terrorism both in the region and throughout the world. It is both ironic and shameful that the United States blames Iran and at the same time, being its staunch supporter, continue to defend Israel’s acts of genocide and supply Israel with endless supplies of weapons for terror and mass murder of innocent Palestinians, including children and women, prolonging the bloodshed and horror in Gaza,”  the letter from the Iranian mission to the UN, sent to the Chairman of the Security Council and the Secretary General of the world organization says.

The mission also rejected US accusations, voiced at a recent Security Council meeting, that Iran supports terrorism in the Middle East region.

“The United States has no right to accuse or lecture other members of the United Nations,” the mission added.
