In China, a sports official was sentenced to seven years for bribery.

The Songzi People’s Court sentenced Huang Song, former director of the Chinese Football Association’s competition department, to seven years in prison for accepting bribes, Xinhua reported.

He was also fined 600 thousand yuan (more than 84 thousand dollars). Illegally obtained funds and material assets of the official will be confiscated and transferred to the state.
