German-Turkish energy partnership website launches

Germany and Turkey continue its collaboration in energy sector through exchange of experience and by initiating specific pilot projects. The new website has been launched, the German Energy Agency (DENA) reports.

The German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Turkey) and DENA launched an energy partnership website early this week to support the energy transition and tackle climate change.

As the two sides say, the cooperative spirit provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge between policymakers, businesses, science and civil society and through collaboration with institutions, associations and businesses in five working groups.

In addition, partnership supports bilateral collaboration with all working groups tasked with implementing measures on renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy infrastructure and sector coupling, regulation of electricity and gas markets and flexibility of existing thermal power plants.

General information about the partnership, studies for download and details of upcoming events will be made available through www.energypartnership-turkey.org.
