EU leaders at the summit confirmed continued military support for Ukraine and called for increased supplies of air defense systems and ammunition, according to the published conclusions following the discussion of Ukraine at the summit.

“The European Council calls for a rapid increase in military support and acceleration of deliveries, in particular air defense systems, ammunition and missiles,” the document states.

The leaders also called for increased support for Ukraine’s defense industry and welcomed the decision to extend the mandate of the EU training mission for the Ukrainian military.
