Turkish and US Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Joe Biden will discuss the situation in Gaza by telephone in the coming days, Hürriyet newspaper reported, citing sources.

“A telephone conversation between the leaders is expected in the coming days,”  newspaper columnist Abdulkadir Selvi, close to government circles said.

According to the publication, the main item on the agenda of the meeting between the two leaders will be Gaza.

“Both a permanent ceasefire and the status of Gaza after the war will be discussed. But there are also issues between Turkey and the United States, such as the sale of F-16 aircraft and Sweden’s membership in NATO,” the publication noted.
