Belgium will supply Ukraine with several F-16s.

The head of the Belgian Defense Ministry, Ludivine Dedonder, confirmed on Wednesday that the kingdom will supply Ukraine with “several” F-16s starting in 2025.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom David Clarinval stated that Belgium would still study the possibility of transferring two to four aircraft to Kyiv in 2024 at the insistence of the liberal wing in the cabinet.

“Belgian Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder announced that from 2025 several Belgian F-16s will be sent to Ukraine, depending on the build-up of its own new F-35 capabilities,” RTL radio reported.

According to the minister, Belgium will also continue training Ukrainian pilots.
