Baku aims to normalize relations with Yerevan, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

Azerbaijan aims to normalize relations with Armenia, but all “unreasonable demands” of Yerevan must be eliminated not in words, but in a “legally sound form,”  Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.

“The position of the Azerbaijani side is that we are aimed at normalizing relations with the Republic of Armenia, but we fully adhere to the line that all those unreasonable demands, all those unreasonable positions that the Republic of Armenia has declared for many decades, they must be completely eliminated. And this should not happen at the level of statements and declarations, but this should be reflected in a legally valid form,” Bayramov said.
