Andy Murray started the new year with a new deal, the British athlete signed a contract with the Aegon Championships at Queen’s Club. This document means that Sir Andy will at Queen’s for rest of his tennis career.
The Queen’s tournament run by The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) is happy with the new deal, Sir Andy Murray is the only man to lift the Grand Slam five times. Undoubtedly, the gifted athlete remains an essential part of the tournament’s appeal, the participation of such powerful tennis player is a great advantage to the Queen’s tournament.
LTA would have liked to engage Murray as an ambassador, the Wimbledon-winner could promote the game via outreach work and coaching clinics.

During last year, Andy has established a good working relationship with Stephen Farrow who is LTA’s head of legal affairs as well. This year, he keeps his sceptical vision of the LTA’s CEO Michael Downey and the policy of an Association:
