Russian S-300 missile deployed to Syria

Russian missiles are in Syria now, the S-300 air defense missile has been deployed to Syria again. According to the TASS, Russian troops need missiles for defending and rebuffing any threats that may come from terrorists.

On Thursday, the Syrian ambassador to Russia, Riyad Haddad in his interview to Rossiya 24 channel told:

“S-300 complex is really deployed in Syria.”

The Ambassador explained that the S-300 will help the Syrian Army to defend itself from the threats that may come from the jihadists. That’s why deploying S-300 missiles pursues two main and clear goals: i) an assuring the security of Russian troops in Syria, ii) helping the Syrian Army to fight with ISIS and terroristic elements.
