President of Salvador is ready to accept criminals from the United States

American Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Salvador President Nayib Bukhele proposed to accept prisoners of criminals from the United States, including those who are in the country on legal grounds.

“He proposed to place dangerous American criminals in our country in his prisons, including those who have US citizenship and legal place of residence,” Rubio said after negotiations by the Secretary of State with the President of Salvador.

Earlier, Buyele told reporters that the governments of the two countries are completing work on an “unprecedented” agreement in the field of combating the migration crisis. The President noted that the future transaction “does not have precedents” in the history of relations not only between the United States and Salvador, but also with other countries of Latin America.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is now on a tour of Latin America. Before Salvador, he made a visit to Panama, as a result of which President Jose Raul Mulino refused to extend the action of the memorandum of understanding with China on the initiative “One belt – one way“. After Salvador, Rubio will visit Costa Rica, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
