Borrell promised to visit Ukraine to discuss support under Trump.

EU diplomacy chief Josep Borrell said he would visit Ukraine in the coming days to discuss further support in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections.

“We are now (after the victory of Donald Trump) faced with a scenario in which Europeans must show unity in order to confront global challenges… The same with Ukraine: we must, no matter what, together continue to support Ukraine and fulfill our obligations.  I will go to Ukraine in the next few days to discuss with the authorities continued support and further steps,” Borrell said before the start of an informal EU summit in Budapest.
