France called for Ukraine to be invited to NATO now.

France is trying to convince its partners of the need to invite Ukraine to NATO now, Minister Delegate for European Affairs Benjamin Haddad said on Friday.

Zelensky presented the so-called “victory plan” to the Ukrainian parliament on Wednesday. The document includes five points, the first of which implies inviting Ukraine to NATO with subsequent membership.

“The invitation is the first stage, a political signal, we could do this now. We are mobilizing (efforts) to convince our partners, even if accession is a long and demanding process,” he said.
