The Israeli army destroyed a Lebanese historical heritage site in the south of the country, Lebanese Culture Minister Mohammed al-Mourtada said.

“The Israeli strikes not only kill people, but also destroy history and heritage – unique mosques in areas such as Blida, Yarun and Kfar Tebnit, as well as churches of great architectural value, were destroyed. They also razed the historical market in Nabatiyeh and Sarai, the oldest quarter of the city with its priceless historical buildings,”  al-Murtada lamented.
