The Emir of Qatar accused Israel of deliberately expanding military operations.

Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani accused Israel of deliberately expanding aggression according to pre-prepared plans into the West Bank and Lebanon.

“Israel has deliberately decided to expand its aggression by implementing pre-prepared plans in other places, such as the West Bank and Lebanon,” Al Thani said, speaking at the opening of a new session of the Advisory Council (Majlis Ash-Shura).

He called for “an end to the aggression against Lebanon and the implementation of international resolutions, including resolution 1701.” Speaking about the situation in the Palestinian territories, the emir of Qatar noted that “after all this killing and destruction, Israel will have no choice but to submit to the two-state solution.”
