Trump questioned the idea of debating Harris on ABC News.

US presidential candidate and former president of the country Donald Trump questioned the idea of holding a debate with United States Vice President Kamala Harris on ABC News due to the appearance of “Trump haters” on its air.

In early August, the Harris campaign announced its disagreement with Trump’s opponent’s decision to host the September 4 debate on Fox News and called on him to honor the agreements reached earlier. The second round of debates was originally supposed to take place on September 10 on ABC, but then the plans included the participation of current US President Joe Biden, who has since decided to withdraw from the race. In this regard, Trump stated that the previous agreements were no longer relevant, and accused the ABC television channel of sympathizing with Democrats and spreading fake news.

“I watched ABC’s fake news this morning… their so-called Trump hater group, and I’m like, why would I want to debate Kamala Harris on that channel?” – Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social.

Trump added that ABC News is headed by Kamala Harris’ “best friend.” The former US president also questioned why Harris refused to debate him on television channels such as Fox News, NBC, CBS and CNN.

Trump previously said that Harris informed his team that she would not participate in the debate on Fox News on September 4.

In August, Trump announced that he would hold three rounds of televised debates with Harris in the coming month, which were planned to be organized on three different American television channels. At the same time, the politician did not specify whether Harris herself confirmed her readiness to take part in all three rounds of televised debates with him.

The US presidential elections will take place on November 5, with current Vice President Kamala Harris and former American leader Donald Trump participating in them from the Democratic and Republican parties.
