Telegram founder Pavel Durov was detained at Le Bourget airport in the suburbs of Paris, French media reported.

It is clarified that Durov was detained on Saturday evening on the platform of Le Bourget airport while disembarking from a private plane, which allegedly arrived from Azerbaijan.

According to French media, Durov, who has French citizenship, was on the list of persons wanted by France; a request for his search was made by the country’s department for combating crimes against minors. The request was made based on a preliminary investigation.
