The final day of the US Democratic Party Convention begins in Chicago.

The final day of the national convention of the US Democratic Party starts in Chicago, the main leitmotif of its agenda is the “fight for the future.”

The most anticipated event, which is intended to be the culmination of the 4-day Democratic convention, will be the keynote speech by Kamala Harris, who will again make a short visit to the city for this purpose.

Two days before this event, following a ceremonial vote, she was officially approved as a candidate for the post of head of state. The public expects that she will now formally accept her nomination, after which she will publicly announce the main provisions of her future policies.

The day before, Harris’s campaign communications director said that her upcoming speech would focus mainly on ways to solve the problems of American voters, including economic issues. We will talk, first of all, about plans announced by Harris to reduce the cost of food and tax reforms, expand housing construction and create new jobs in the country.

Key speakers at the Democratic convention venue, the United Center indoor sports arena, on Wednesday included Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and former White House occupant Bill Clinton. It is noteworthy that the latter’s wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, had the opportunity to make a speech in front of millions of Americans on the first day of this political forum.

In an attempt to belittle their Republican opponents, Democrats did not shy away from populist statements that sometimes bordered on insults. Thus, in his speech, Clinton publicly ridiculed Republican candidate Donald Trump for saying that under him the United States enjoyed the respect of Russia and North Korea. According to Clinton, he “almost gasped” when he heard this from Trump during the latter’s televised debate with President Joe Biden, and called the Republican politician “a good actor, who deserves emotional credit.”
