Trump said he had agreed with Fox News to host a debate with Harris.

US presidential candidate Republican Donald Trump said he has agreed with Fox News to hold a debate with his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris on September 4 in Pennsylvania.

“I have made arrangements with Fox News to hold a debate with Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th… The Fox News debate will take place in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at a venue in an area to be determined,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.

Trump and Harris have been unable to agree on the date and channel of the debate for weeks now. The second round of debates was originally supposed to take place on September 10 on ABC, but then the plans included the participation of current US President Joe Biden, who has since decided to withdraw from the race. In this regard, the Trump team said that it cannot yet definitely promise participation in the debate on ABC, since the Democrats have changed their candidate. Fox News, which is close to the Republicans, has offered to hold a debate on their site on September 17, while Trump accuses ABC of sympathizing with Democrats and spreading fake news.

The US presidential elections will take place on November 5th.
