Microsoft Azure commented on the large-scale failure.

The Microsoft Azure cloud platform, in a statement about the large-scale failure, said that it is aware of the problem and is considering alternatives that customers can take advantage of.

“We have become aware of an issue that affects the management of Windows and… CrowdStrike virtual machines… We are aware of this issue and are evaluating potential alternatives that Azure customers can use to stabilize,” Microsoft Azure said in a comment.

On Friday morning, a global technical failure of Windows-based equipment began, which affected telecom operators, banks and airlines around the world. According to the Verge, the cause of the widespread outages lies in a faulty update from cybersecurity provider CrowdStrike, which disconnects computers and servers from the network, forcing them to go into a recovery cycle, which prevents equipment from starting the system properly.
