An explosion occurred in Tehran, two buildings were destroyed.

An explosion in a two-story house on Rey Street occurred in the Iranian capital, the explosion caused the destruction of a neighboring building, and there may be people under the rubble,  Jalal Maleki, an official representative of the Tehran Municipal Fire Service Organization said.

“A powerful explosion occurred in a two-story building on Rey Street… It caused the destruction of this and neighboring buildings, and firefighters are currently at the scene,” Maleki said.

Maleki did not rule out the possibility of people being trapped under the rubble.
