More than 300 protesters against aid to Israel were detained in New York.

More than 300 activists calling for an end to funding for Israel and a ceasefire in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone were detained at Grand Central Station in New York, Jewish Voice for Peace organizers said.

Earlier, activists gathered in the Grand Central station building to call on the US authorities to stop funding Israel. The protesters also reportedly called for an immediate ceasefire. Some of them brought Palestinian flags.
