The nanny of the child of former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that his wife fired her after just three days of work because she had a glass of wine with him, without even allowing her to hold the child.
⠀
“It was a complete nightmare,” said Zimbabwean Theresa Dawes.
⠀
According to her, Johnson “is not her type” and she just had a glass of rose wine with him in honor of the newborn of Frank Alfred Odysseus, his eighth child
Boris Johnson.
⠀
Dawes claims that Carrie Johnson fired her as soon as she left the hospital, giving the nanny 15 minutes to pack her things and leave. According to Dawes, the former prime minister apologized to her, but said that he could not control his wife “because of hormones.”
⠀
The nanny believes she is owed “thousands” of pounds for working for the ex-prime couple and severance pay, as she was given a three-month contract. She is considering filing a lawsuit.

Earlier, former deputy chief of staff to the British Prime Minister Cleo Watson said that her work with Boris Johnson on Downing Street was more like a nanny for the prime minister. She noted that during the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, she constantly took his temperature, during his recovery from COVID-19, reminded him to take vitamins or exercise, often pointed out the need to wash his hands, and also reminded him to refrain from inappropriate language.
