France’s actions were regarded as hostile in the DPRK.

The actions of France, which, without taking into account the extremely tense situation on the Korean Peninsula, is transferring its aircraft to the region and conducting exercises with South Korea, can only be considered as an intention to treat the DPRK as an “enemy”, according to a scientific opinion published by the Central News Agency of the DPRK (KCNA). an employee of the North Korean Korean-European Society Ryu Kyung-chul.

France and South Korea last week held their first joint air force exercise as part of the French Pegase mission, which involves the deployment of air assets to East and South Asia to demonstrate the country’s commitment to security in the Asia-Pacific region.

The exercise, which took place over two days on July 25-26, included aerial refueling and a joint flight in memory of UN servicemen who died during the Korean War of 1950-1953.

North Korea has sharply condemned the exercise, calling it an “irresponsible” and “provocative” act that increases tension on the sharp Korean Peninsula and threatens the security of the DPRK.

As the researcher notes, the situation on the Korean Peninsula is already extremely tense and is “on the verge of war” against the backdrop of the creation of a nuclear advisory group (NCG) by the United States and South Korea, as well as the transfer of strategic nuclear weapons to the region.

“It was at this moment that France deployed its fighter jets to the Korean Peninsula, which is de jure under martial law – this cannot be explained otherwise than as an intention to treat the DPRK as an enemy,” the scientist says, adding that he would like to see to the reaction of France, if alien planes appeared over the Pas de Calais (aka the Strait of Dover) and “threatened the security of Paris.”

According to Ryu Kyung-chul, France should “settle unresolved problems at home”, where the “divide in society” is allegedly deepening, instead of “wasting its energy” in the Asia-Pacific region. It is noted that this is not the first time that France has transferred warships and patrol aircraft to the waters around the Korean Peninsula.

“The fact that France, without taking into account the mood of our people and the situation on the Korean Peninsula, which is approaching the brink of war, deployed fighter jets into the airspace of South Korean puppets shows that it still has not learned the lesson of how senseless it was during the last Korean War shed blood for the sake of the so-called “ally”, – is spoken in the message.
