Police have arrested a suspect in the Fox Memphis shooting.

Police have detained a suspect in the shooting at the office of the local branch of the Fox television channel in the US city of Memphis, law enforcement officials say.

“The suspect has been detained,” the city’s police department said on Twitter.

The TV channel, for its part, informs that the suspect was detained two hours after he fired at the office and fled to a nearby restaurant. According to the channel, the attacker used an assault rifle, no one was injured in the incident, the employees returned to the office.

According to the report, the suspect approached a TV station employee in the parking lot on Tuesday morning and showed him a weapon, the employee ended the conversation and left, and the suspect walked to the front of the building and fired one shot.
