Melania Trump, Vladimir Putin sit together at G20 banquet

Melania Trump was sitting right next to Vladimir Putin at the G20 banquet, while Donald Trump seated down the way, closer to Angela Merkel and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Dinner diplomacy in action, in fact, that is one of the best ways to settle many problems. 

Both Melania and Donald Trump met Putin for the first time on Friday, that was the first their meeting after the election the new President of the United States. For Vladimir Putin, it is already the fourth POTUS.

The world’s top leaders gathered in Hamburg, Germany at the G20 summit, and on the sides of this important meeting, Angela Merkel intends to talk with Donald Trump regarding the quitting of the US from Paris climate agreement and other issues.

President Trump’s conversation with Putin signified the first time the Republican brought up Russia’s hacking of the 2016 presidential election, which Putin promptly denied.

With the day’s business out of the way, the leaders enjoyed a concert and then a Friday night dinner, in which couples were split up and not seated with their spouses. That’s how Melania Trump ended up next to Vladimir Putin.
