The Prince of Wales, son of British Queen Elizabeth II, paid an official visit to Canada together with his spouse, Duchess of Cornwall. The royals spent three days celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Canadian Confederation.
Prince Charles and his wife Camilla spent three wonderful days in Canada, they congratulated the Canadian people with the 150th Anniversary of Canadian Confederation. During the three-days visit, the British royals visited the new Canadian History Hall at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec.
Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall marked the opening of the new Canadian History Hall, met with youth from diverse backgrounds to hear their perspectives on what Canada means for them today.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Prince of Wales had the conversation at Rideau Hall, later, Prince Charles was presented with the Order of Canada by Governor-General David Johnston.
On July 1st, at the site of Reconciliation, The Peacekeeping Monument, in Ottawa, the Prince of Wales participates in an inspection of the guard, the 21-gun salute was fired.

The Duchess, who is in Canada for the fourth time, attended a separate event dedicated to women’s wellness in the North including the Qayuqtuvik Food Centre that offers a free hot meal program to local residents.
The pair will also visit a farmer’s market in Prince Edward County before flying to Ottawa, where they will spend Canada Day to mark the country’s 150th anniversary of Confederation. Last September, the young generation of Windsor royal family also paid an official visit to Canada, people were really glad to welcome Prince William, Kate Middleton and their adorable kids, George and Charlotte.
