The Chinese Embassy warned citizens against traveling to Ukraine.

The Chinese Embassy in Ukraine recommended that Chinese citizens not come to Ukraine due to the “security situation,” according to a message from the diplomatic mission on the WeChat social network.

The embassy noted that recently air raid signals have been constantly sounding throughout Ukraine.

“Given the current security situation, we ask Chinese citizens not to come to Ukraine for now,” the embassy said in a statement.

In addition, citizens who remain on the territory of Ukraine of their own free will were advised to take shelter in safe places immediately after the air raid signal sounds.
