A brand new track from Lana Del Ray followed on from launch another single ‘Love‘ and the title track featuring The Weeknd. The composition ‘Coachella – Woodstock In my Mind’ is available already, the rest we will is taken from songstress’ upcoming album ‘Lust For Life‘.
The theme of Woodstock is eternal in the music and history of music, so new track gains more and more popularity. Lana Del Ray offered a new reading of a song a la pop-noir, she decided to back it by subtle R&B beats, making the hit much more three-dimensional.
While ‘Lust For Life’ will be released on May 26, the video for this track is available now, the video is packed with vivid imagery of her imagination being sent back while enjoying the music and crowds of the California desert.
The singer notes that her new ‘Lust For Life’ is more ‘socially aware’ because she was started out thinking that the whole record was gonna have a sort of a ’50s-’60s feeling. The fans can feel a little bit of Shangri-Las vibrations or early Joan Baez influences in the new Lana Del Ray’s album.
“But I don’t know, as the climate kept on getting more heated politically, I found lyrically everything was just directed towards that. So because of that, the sound just got really updated, and I felt like it was more wanting to talk to the younger side of the audience that I have. I guess it’s a little more socially aware. It’s kind of a global feeling,”
added the singer, describing her new work ‘Lust For Life’.
