Hungary said that a significant part of the world wants a new order.

A significant part of the world wants a new order without US dominance, the BRICS countries have succeeded in building a new world order, but it is impossible without Russia, which the West seeks to destroy, the chairman of the Hungarian Workers’ Party, Gyula Thürmer said.

“In the global situation, we must see not only war. A significant part of the world wants a new world order. A world in which America is not the only one to rule, but which is built on equal and mutual cooperation of countries. This year has shown progress here. China, Russia and the BRICS countries have made a huge step forward in establishing a new world order. However, the new one has not yet defeated the old one. It is also possible that two systems will operate in the world,” Thürmer said at the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the creation of the Hungarian Workers’ Party.

According to him, such a new world order cannot be created without Russia, and the current conflict in Ukraine is “a full-fledged war of the Western world against Russia.”

“The West is trying to destroy Russia today. But the West wants to destroy everything else that is not like them. If they defeat Russia, they will defeat all of us. We who want a new world order… We are with Russia. The future of Europe and it also depends on us whether the West accepts the realities and finds a compromise with Russia,” Thürmer noted.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban previously stated that the five-hundred-year era of dominance of Western civilization is over, the strategy of Westernization of the entire world has collapsed and the center of the world economy has shifted to the East, and the next century will be the century of Eurasia. According to him, the liberal world order is over, those countries that can get the most out of themselves will benefit from the changes, and those that cannot defend their own values will lose.

Earlier, Orban called the BRICS summit in Kazani a summit of countries of the eastern world with powerful economies. He stated that Asia would become the defining center of the world for decades, if not centuries, and that the BRICS and SCO associations were laying the foundations for the emerging new world order.

The Hungarian Workers’ Party has repeatedly held rallies against Hungary’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine under pressure from the EU and NATO and in support of the peace-oriented policies of the Hungarian government. Thürmer has repeatedly published articles on modern Russian-Hungarian relations, in which he emphasized that Russia is for Hungary not only one of the goals of “opening to the East” but also a path to a new world order, which should be built on an equal basis, and not on division to more and less privileged countries, as the West proposes.
