Hezbollah is ready to use ballistic missiles against Israel.

Hezbollah is ready to use its ballistic and high-precision missiles against Israel if necessary in the future, Secretary General of the Lebanese movement Hassan Nasrullah said, speaking live on Al-Manar TV channel.

“Hezbollah has no intention of using ballistic and precision missiles against Israel. But they may be used in the future,” Nasrullah said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israeli forces carried out a pre-emptive strike on Hezbollah targets Sunday morning and destroyed thousands of rockets after intelligence spotted preparations for a strike on Israeli territory. The Israeli military said that about 100 air force aircraft took part in the operation to destroy Hezbollah facilities and weapons. According to their assessment, the damage caused to Israel as a result of the attack is assessed as minimal.

Hezbollah’s massive strike comes in response to the recent killing of the movement’s senior commander, Fuad Shukr, in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
