The Foreign Minister of Spain said that the EU needs a security concept taking into account hybrid attacks

Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albarez believes that the European Union should accept the security concept taking into account such aspects as disinformation and hybrid attacks.

“In the short term, we must increase the possibilities of quick response for interference in case of a crisis,” the diplomat wrote in an article for the El Diario newspaper.

According to the Foreign Minister, he advocates the creation of the “embryo of the real European army” and the development of the European defense industry.

“Europe should adopt a wide concept of security, which includes such aspects as misinformation and hybrid attacks, civil defense, security of the main benefits and protecting a critical infrastructure,” the minister added.

In his opinion, the necessary financing at the European level should be attracted for this.
