In France, 380 people were detained on New Year’s Eve, 745 cars were burned, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin reported on the social network X.

“Compared to last year, ten percent fewer cars were burned <…> 380 arrests were made throughout the country, this is also ten percent less,” he said.
