Donald Trump ‘to give Sylvester Stallone top arts job’

Donald Trump is having trouble booking celebrities to perform at his inauguration. That’s why the President-elect intensified his contacts with show business and art spheres. Last week Trump met with Kanye West, this week he is offering Sylvester Stallone a role in his administration, says The Daily Mail.

Donald Trump has the great plans for the 70-year-old actor and Rocky star, the President-elect offers Stallone a senior arts role. According to Trump, The position in his administration will be the greatest chance for Stallone to demonstrate his ability to be Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts.

This  Government agency offers the funding to aspiring artists, and Stallone’s deep knowing of his issue may be very helpful for the country and its cinematographic sphere’s development. After the widely and wrongly assuming that a Trump Presidency will be hostile to the arts, the President-elect intends to proof his love to arts.

Now, Mr Trump feels this sort of A-list appointment is precisely the shot in the arm that the industry needs. Mr Stallone didn’t comment this offer but the actor is definitely interested in the political career. Sly has previously shown an interest in politics when he backed John McCain’s presidential campaign in 2008. Moreover, in a recent interview to Variety Stallone told how he loved Donald Trump, but did not explicitly endorse his presidency:

I love Donald Trump. He’s a great Dickensian character. You know what I mean? There are certain people like Arnold, Babe Ruth, that are bigger than life. But I don’t know how that translates to running the world,’

Mr Stallone said.
