American Music Awards 2016, one of the major musical events of America, will take place on November 20. The organisers have compiled a list of the nominees and announced it last month on Good Morning America by Joe Jonas and Rachel Platten.
American Music Awards 2016 will open its main musical intrigue next week, who will be the best music artist or band in 2016. The ceremony will be held at the Microsoft Theater in LA on Nov. 20, at 8PM ET and will air on ABC.
Among the leaders is Drake who gathered 13 nominations, Rihanna with her seven nods, Adele and Justin Bieber got only five nominations each. According to AMAs statistics, Drake set the new record in the musical industry, being bet even the legend, Michael Jackson. In 1984, the pop-singer received 11 awards nominations.

American Music Awards 2016 has released a full list of this year’s nominations and names of nominees. The most often in this chart you can see the name of Canadian rapper Drake, 30-year-old ex-boyfriend of Rihanna.
The AMAs 2016 will identify the best artists in the following nominations: Pop/Rock, Alternative Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Adult Contemporary, Contemporary Inspirational, Latin, EDM, and Soundtrack.
The fans can vote for the favourite artist by two ways: via AMAvote.com and/or via Twitter. The Awards 2016 fans can vote for all categories once per day, per platform.
