American Music Awards 2016 with Gigi Hadid as co-host promises to be one of the greatest events of this year. Gigi announced this AMAs producers’ decision via her Instagram story Friday.
The American Music Awards 2016 is set to co-host by Gigi Hadid, a 21-year-old top model. Together with ex-Saturday Night Live funnyman Jay Pharoah, of course. The musical evening’s potential winners include Justin Bieber, Adele, Rihanna and Drake. All of them have a solid chance to become best in many nominations, Drake is leading so far.
The American Music Awards 2016 is Hadid’s second time hosting a major awards show — she made her hosting debut at the Much Music Video Music Awards in Toronto earlier this year.
Hadid and her co-host Pharoah will run the star-studded broadcast with performances by major artists including John Legend, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, who were added to the already A-list lineup Thursday. It worth to note, Ariana and Nicki will perform together for a live rendition of their collaboration, ‘Side to Side’.
The AMA’s shared on Facebook Live that The Weeknd will join previously announced artists Bruno Mars (as the show’s opener), James Bay, nominees Fifth Harmony, Green Day, Twenty One Pilots, The Chainsmokers and Halsey.
