The American Music Awards has already its leader, that’s the rapper Drake who is going to win in 13 nominations. The upcoming event set to be held on Nov 20, and Drake’s 13 nominations is a record for the decades-old ceremony, the previous record holder was Michael Jackson in the 80s.
Drake’s both songs like Views and his Future collaboration What A Time To Be Alive are great. Rihanna comes in second with seven nods, thanks to both her album Anti and its lead single “Work,” which also helped her friend Drake rack up the nods.
The online voters of the important musical annual event–American Music Awards–can give their votes via internet, the AMAs site is waiting. Drake is a this year’s AMAs favorite, the rapper has a chance to take 13 statuettes of the American Music Awards 2016.

Drake was unattached and single for a while after his break up with Rihanna but it seems like now he’s with tennis player Serena Williams. It is a very low-key relationship but they were caught locking lips at Serena’s match in Wimbledon. There’s still heavy speculation but it seems the two stars are dating under Hollywood’s radar.
Drake’s got support – and not just from the millions buying his music, his merchandise, his tour tickets and into his OVO brand and label. In one of interview with Clash, Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA spoke highly indeed of the Canadian:
“As far as raw talent goes, an MC with raw talent and focus, Drake has both. Whether he’s rapping or acting, you can tell that the only thing that will stop him is himself.”
