President Recep Tayyip Erdogan believes that his American colleague will not delay the return to Turkey cleric Gulen. Fetullah Gulen, according to Erdogan is a person, whom Turkey accuses of orchestrating July’s violent coup attempt.
Erdogan reminded on Thursday in his statement that Turkey and the USA were strategic partners, that is why America should “not make things hard for its strategic partner.”
Turkey accuses Gulen’s movement a terror organization and wants him returned to the country to face trial. In its turn, Washington said is sees no evidence of the cleric’s involvement in the coup attempt, consequently, is not going to extradite Gulen. On what Erdogan said:
